Model Spotlight: Jenna

After a post about Nikki, it made sense to blog about models who I consider my favorites when collaborating.   I had been shooting for about 6 months when I received a message from a pin-up model from the nearby town of Porterville; I'll refer to her as "E". E asked if I would work with and after some scheduling conflicts, we decided on a date in late December. E also asked if her friend Jenna, another pin-up model, could attend our shoot and she assured me that Jenna was also a pin-up model; halfheartedly, I agreed.

Well the rest is history, so here are my favorite images (and hyperlinked FLICKR sets) in chronological order beginning with our first shoot way back on December 20, 2009. We actually did two wardrobe changes, so be sure to check out the set on FLICKR.

Happy Holidays!!!
Our Black Widow shoot on January 9, 2010.  It was freakin' cold in P'ville and we had Jenna standing in tall wet grass.  Sorry.

Then Jenna agreed to be in my Tatt'ed Sheets Sessions on January 24, 2010

Pure White

On April 24, 2010 Rob and I drove out to Porterville amd shot with Jenna and her friend Christine.  I'm not sure what happened that day, but I wasn't feeling it like I normally do and sometimes you get out of sync.  This image almost worked, almost.

Farewell

A year had almost lapsed before Jenna and I worked together again.  I believe she started dating someone new and her school kept her really busy.  We stayed in touch, but not that often.  So I had been dying to do a Little Red Riding Hood shoot and asked Jenna to be Red.  We met up in Porterville on March 13, 2011 and shot along the river.

Gathering

In less than a month, Jenna asked if I would help her do a Liz Taylor Tribute.  I studied the pictures and lighting and Jenna had someone new do her hair and make-up.  Overall, I think we did a really good job.
Tribute

Again more school for Jenna so we didn't get a chance to shoot until her Winter Break, which coincided with the purchase of my Vespa.  I really loved this shoot and this image is definitely my favorite.

Then in July 2012, my buddy Rob mentioned that Union Station was scheduled to be renovated, so I hit up Jenna and we nailed it.  This image even made it on Vogue Italia.

Travel

I can truly say that every shoot has been both challenging and rewarding, but the best part is that Jenna gives it 100% on all facets of the shoot.  She is definitely my favorite tattooed pin-up model...

As an aside, we have  a shoot scheduled for January 1, 2013.
